Now that I will soon have a choice between continuing to focus my attention on people who just cannot accept being ignored because they really are insignificant, and getting on with far more important matters I was forcibly distracted from by their unlawful actions, I am putting some links and other pages here to remind myself of stuff that I will be able to start getting back too soon without actually leaving the current project unfinished by resuming other work full-time immediately.

More than a quarter of a century ago, but still my views today. Unfortunately still also summarizes the situation of "Maoists" in the West - ie we still don't know what is to be done. Digging it up again along with other old articles as it may be that once again "the times they are a changing". In particular, following events in Nepal there should once again be a milieu in which it is at least possible to discuss what is to be done. There really wasn't much point writing polemics against absurd tendencies claiming to be "Maoist". They weren't influencing anybody who mattered, so why bother? These notes from paragraph 11 on strike me as resonating well with the red flag fluttering again in the Himalayas.
