Plone Web Content Management

If you would like to help manage this site or setup similar sites for other projects, simply download a copy of Plone from the link in the footer of each page. It installs with a single click on any Windows, Mac or GNU/Linux etc PC to provide a personal web application server with advanced and easy to use content management and database facilities that you can access  from your browser just like any other web site and can also manage like any web services provider.

Plone works well with "any browser" (including mobile phones etc).

Firefox Web Browser

Firefox is the recommended browser for project use:

Many advantages over Microsoft Internet Explorer or Macintosh Safari including add-ons like Zotero for research, Aigaion paste for bibliographies and OpenURL Referrer for citations.

Some other add-ons useful for normal functionality include:

PDFdownload to solve problems with Acrobat .pdf files as web pages.

Open Office

Although Microsoft Office is dominant in law offices and therefore necessary for law students, Open Office is recommended for this project as it can read and write Microsoft formats. Future project groupware connecting individual participant PCs, web sites, Microsoft LANs in law firms and the wider internet Free and Open Source Software community that brings us benefits like Plone, Firefox and GNU can be more easily integrated that way.
